Environmenal Management Services

KVCOG provides environmental management services to municipalities, solid waste districts and associations, and water districts. Our staff has considerable experience in solid waste management, watershed protection, and storm water management and road maintenance for water quality improvement.
Services include:

• Solid Waste System Analysis and Design,
• Recycling/Reuse Assistance and Education
• Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
• Bulky Waste Recycling and Disposal
• Composting
• Universal Waste Recycling and Education
• Public Education

Recycling Program

The environmental management services are funded through a U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Development Grant, Maine Department of Environmental Protection Grants and US Environmental Protection Agency Grants, and fee-for-service.
