As the Executive Director, Joel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of KVCOG operations and programs, including long range planning, policy and procedures, market strategies, knowledge of federal and state legislation, annual budget development, and personnel management. Joel also oversees all aspects of Community Planning, including assisting with land use issues, comprehensive planning, ordinance writing, bicycle and pedestrian planning, and maintaining and utilizing the GIS system.
Turner Allen – Community Planner/GIS Specialist
As the Community Planner/GIS Specialist, Turner works on community and project mapping, comprehensive plan updates, drafting new ordinances and regulations, amending existing regulations, and many other planning tasks.
Maggie Camden – Operations & Program Services Administrator
As the Operations and Program Services Administrator, Maggie serves at the primary link between KVCOG and the communities we serve; assisting our member municipalities with their needs, services and requests; as well as coordinating member events and training with the KVCOG planners. Maggie also manages the complete Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program, this includes applications, marketing, and loan servicing. She also handles critical financial and administrative duties to ensure the organization runs smoothly to assist the Executive Director and Finance Director.
Jessica Cobb – Senior Planner
As the Senior Planner, Jessica works on comprehensive plan updates, drafting new ordinances and regulations, amending existing regulations, and many other planning tasks.
Jessie Cyr – Community and Economic Development Director
As the Community and Economic Development Director, Jessie assists our municipal members with finding potential funding, assistance with grant writing and advises on economic development strategies for individual towns and the region.
Jeff Drew – Regional Code Enforcement Officer
As the Regional Code Enforcement Officer, Jeff is responsible for managing the Somerset County region's permitting process from application to the issuance of occupancy certificates. He conducts essential site inspections, including septic, plumbing, and electrical, to ensure compliance with all local ordinances. Olivia Kunesh – Environmental Coordinator
As the Environmental Coordinator, Olivia works on our environmental programs including the Solid Waste Program, Textile Recycling/Recovery, Composting Program, Joint Purchasing and the Household Hazardous Waste events.
Diana Rafuse– Finance Director
As the Finance Director, Diana manages our financial and reporting needs. She is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, managing the audit, ensuring loan and grant compliance, small business outreach, and much more.
Grainne Shaw – Community & Resiliency Planner
As the Community & Resiliency Planner, Grainne works with municipalities to explore new resources and solutions to help communities thrive.
Melanie Weston – Community Planner
As the Community Planner, Melanie works on comprehensive plan updates, drafting new ordinances and regulations, amending existing regulations, and many other planning tasks.
